Ready for the 2020 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports?

Hello,
The next FISU sports event is finally here! After several months of some fantastic online educational and development events like the FISU World Forum and FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy, as well as the worldwide celebration of the International Day of University Sport, we are back with a FISU World University Championship this month.
In late October, 26-30 to be precise, some of the best university-level Chess and Bridge players from the world over will get a chance to compete in the World University Championship Mind Sports. The Championship was to be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland, but has been switched to an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The great news is that both, chess and bridge, will be streamed live on all five days, on bespoke online platforms, so fans of both sports can follow all the action.
Important for our member federations to note that registrations for this event close in 10 days, on 11 October, so don't wait and register your participants today, right here: http://wucmindsports2020.ukw.edu.pl/.
The other big news is that Rugby Sevens is now all set to officially join 3x3 Basketball and Football as a FISU University World Cup! In fact, dates have been announced for the next set of FISU University World Cup events, to be held through 2021 and 2022. Find out more about that in our top news story below.
Until next time then,
Your FISU Team
