 June 1st, 2023

This Friday, 6-9 pm, come experience the opening of Weaving Generations, a multigenerational art exhibit at CHAC Gallery! This exhibit runs from June 2 – July 21, 2023.  Weaving Generations will highlight the beauty, diversity, and resilience of CHAC’s passionate commitment to our artistic community for the past 45 years. This exhibition will highlight our rich intergenerational connections. Showcasing established artists and emerging creatives, this show will explore how the experiences of the past help guide our future generations.

“CHAC creates an environment where the different generations nurture each other, celebrate together, and dialogue about art, society, and the creative process. Weaving Generations is a celebration of this,” Executive Director Brenda Gurule.

June 2nd is also our Art Districts' First Friday Circus Art Crawl. 40 West will have circus performers parading through the streets, new exhibitions, food trucks, installations, and more. All galleries and creative businesses are open to the public during this free and kid-friendly event.

June 16th, 6 - 8pm, CHAC and Oz Gallery are excited to announce the Food and Cultures exhibit opening! This exhibit delves into the fascinating relationship between food and diverse cultures. Food and Cultures invites visitors on a visionary journey, exploring the intersection of culinary traditions and artistic expression. This exhibit runs from June 13th to August 25th, 2023.
