2020 CDI Leadership Research Series Recap

In January 2020, the Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (ACDIS) issued a survey to members of the ACDIS CDI Leadership Council, including supervisors, managers, and directors, with the aim of getting quality data on three important aspects of a CDI leader’s role. These topics included key performance indicator (KPI) trends and monitoring, the state of physician engagement, and CDI expansion into quality reviews.

The results lend insight into the state of CDI and specifically into the work of CDI leaders nationwide.
