Program lets restaurants indicate COVID-19 compliance

As COVID-19 cases continue to climb across the state, Gov. Henry McMaster has unveiled the Palmetto Priority program, which restaurants can take part in to indicate they are complying with social distancing and infection-control protocols.

Dominion Energy extends no-disconnect policy

Dominion has suspended disconnects and waived fees until Sept. 14; the state mandate expired May 14. The company urged customers to contact Dominion about options, especially if they are having difficulty during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Volvo Car U.S. Operations Community Fund of Coastal Community Foundation recently awarded a $5,500 grant to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired South Carolina for its Own Your Life program.
