Palmetto, located in Pacific Box & Crate, completed the Series B round of funding to support research and development, staff growth and investment in data science, allowing it to grow products and services for its energy mitigation platform that includes solar, energy management and storage systems.

Clemson develops reporting site for 'mystery seeds'

Following a steady stream of requests about unsolicited packages of seeds postmarked from China, Clemson University has launched an online reporting site for recipients. The site also advises recipients on how to store the stores until they are collected.

The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League Inc. is hosting Swing for the Symphony on Oct. 5. All proceeds from this golf event at the Country Club of Charleston will benefit the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and its music scholarships.
