MUSC makes $5.6 billion economic impact on state

An economic study shows that MUSC’s education programs, patient care and research contribute billions of dollars to the economy. The study by a Darla Moore School of Business researcher found 38,186 South Carolina jobs are directly or indirectly related to MUSC.

Clemson receives $60M donation to business college

Clemson University has received a $60 million gift for the College of Business from longtime philanthropists Wilbur O. “Billy” and Ann Powers. The donation is the largest in the university's history.

Helping Out 

The Palmetto Military Support Group will host its Red, White and Blue Golf Tournament on Nov. 12 at The Links at Stono Ferry. Portions of the proceeds will go toward veteran organizations in the community and continued support of the Charleston military.
