S.C. education, workforce training receive $19 million in funding

As part of the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief, $19 million will be invested in the state’s provide job training, educational resources to foster children, and early education for children in poverty.

S.C. adds 4,100 construction jobs in 12-month period

Growth in Spartanburg and Columbia, two of 122 metro areas in the country to add industry jobs, contributed to 4% growth from November 2019 to November 2020.

A study by United Van Lines determined that South Carolina was the second most sought after state to move to in 2020. Inbound moves made up 64% of total relocations.
