HUD grant to combat flooding in medical district

Charleston received the $10 million grant to help fight flooding in one of the high-traffic businesses centers of the city, which also is one of the most flood prone. The money will be used for drainage tunnel underneath Ehrhardt Street.

Automotive suppliers invited to matchmaking event

The S.C. Automotive Council is hosting a virtual automotive B2B matchmaking event May 11 during the S.C. Automotive Summit. The event is open to any company that has a South Carolina location and manufactures a product, part, material or that provides a service. Attendees are limited to two per company.

Dallas company to acquire Immedion

Greenville's Immedion will be acquired by Dallas-headquartered DartPoints, owner and operator of edge colocation data centers. The two companies announced Tuesday that an agreement was signed to make the sale complete in the next few months.
