An exploration of modern life, technology, and how meaning gets made in the 21st century. Join filmmaker and critic Mary Louise Schumacher for a special preview screening of her film Out of the Picture (140 minutes). Following the film, she will be joined in conversation with fellow art critics Seph Rodney and Hrag Vartanian of Hyperallergic and Jeneé Osterheldt of The Boston Globe.
Made over the course of several years, this feature-length film follows the critics noted above, as well as Carolina Miranda and Jen Graves, as the landscape of art criticism evolves in a fast-paced media environment. |
