At first, David Montgomery just wasn't getting the work. The Bears opened the season with Mike Davis of all people as their No. 1 back, with Montgomery fighting for scraps. It was ... disheartening for Fantasy players to watch, to say the least.

That arrangement didn't last long, however, and Montgomery has been the team's obvious top option for three weeks running. But the Fantasy production hasn't been there. There have been flashes, for sure, but Montgomery just hasn't put it all together.
