SECOND MONTH OF FLORIDA LEAGUE SEASON SET TO BEGIN!

The calendar is almost ready to turn to July, and another big week of Florida League baseball is on the horizon! Teams across the league will host Independence Day celebrations throughout the week, anchored by the expected capacity-plus crowd at Pat Thomas Stadium on Friday night!

SNAPPERS SWEEP WEEKLY AWARDS; FIELDS AND WITTIG HONORED

The Orlando Snappers claimed both weekly awards this week, as Blake Fields (Miami Dade) was named Player of the Week, and Joey Wittig (Louisiana Tech) earned Pitcher of the Week honors. Fields blasted a walk-off home run on Friday, while Wittig posted a dominant start on Monday!

The Florida League is looking for generous families willing to open their homes to our players for the summer. Host families are an integral part of the league and hosting a player can be a valuable experience for both the player and the host.
