Avourneen, a Denver-based trio that specializes in Irish folk, doesn’t have direct geographic ties to Ireland. 🍀

The band is composed of guitarist/vocalist Adam Goldstein, a Denver native; violinist CL Morden, an import from California; and Alice Alister, a longtime Colorado resident and talented bassist. ☘️

Together, they play a brand of Celtic music that’s both timeless and innovative, a take on the genre the Celtic Connection calls “unique in Colorado – and perhaps in the country.”💚

Peter John Stoltzman Trio

Creatively intermingling an eclectic spectrum of music, Adam’s two recent albums Scenes of Changery and Nurtured by Nature radiate a whimsical and cinematic vibe that warms the heart and tickles the imagination.

Calling itself Milquetoast & Co., this Denver-based sextet mingles high-intensity, angular elements of Americana with equal parts rock and blues and a touch of pomp and pageantry. Their songs tell the tales of life; embracing the joy and sorrow of complex human relationships while tipping a well-tailored cap to the moments of beauty and irreverence we all share. Originally based in Boston, Milquetoast & Co. self-released three albums prior to parting ways for a series of “it seemed like a good idea at the time” reasons, from parenthood to world travel. Waiting for the time and circumstances to be right, the band re-established itself, deep in the heart of the Rockies.
