The number of new weekly deaths decreased by 10%, as compared to the previous week, with about 9400 fatalities reported. As of 6 November 2022, 629 million confirmed cases and 6.5 million deaths have been reported globally. WHO's appeal for US$ 88.2 million will help reduce death and illness, with minimum disruption to the country’s social and health systems.
