| Former Rural Affairs Secretary Richard Lochhead is to be appointed Minister for Forther Education, Higher Education and Science. Investment of £4.8 million was announced for a new Aerospace Innovation Centre at Sprit Aerosystems manufacturing site at Prestwick in Ayrshire. A 3% pay increase has been awared to doctors and dentists working in Scotland and earning less than £80,000. £2.6 million in funding is to be given to Scotland's science centres in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, and Glasgow as visitor numbers continue to grow. | .gif)
