Publisher Update: Help Us Reach Our $25K End-of-Year Fundraising Goal by Dec. 31!
We want to express our gratitude to the 195 generous donors who have contributed to The Rumpus end-of-year fundraiser. Thanks to you, we’ve raised $17,952—72% of our $25K goal—with just $7,047 remaining to fill our 2024 funding gap by December 31. Your support means everything to us!
If you haven't already given can you help us now, so The Rumpus can continue publishing original work 5 days a week in 2025 and (hopefully) beyond?
For those of you who have asked, if you're not concerned with the tax deduction (or are donating from outside the U.S.), you can make a contribution directly via PayPal, which has a much lower processing fee compared to our fiscal sponsor. For example, PayPal takes just 75 cents on a $25 donation, while our fiscal sponsor takes $2.17.
We are incredibly grateful for your continued support during a very tough year.
With appreciation, Alyson Sinclair Publisher, The Rumpus |

If you get your Rumpus updates from X, consider following us elsewhere as we're currently phasing out the account. Reader Support Keeps The Rumpus Going! |
|
Founded in 2009 in San Francisco, CA and now based in Asheville, NC with readers and editors all over the US and abroad, The Rumpusis one of the longest-running independent online literary and culture magazines. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers readers already know and love. Often, we are an emerging writer's first notable publication, which is something we’re really proud of. We believe that literature builds community—and if reading The Rumpus makes you feel more connected, please show your support! Our Membership and subscription programs along with tax-deductible donations made to The Rumpus through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, help keep us going and brings us closer to sustainability. |
