We received 3 messages in a single day this week from people letting us know they’d won competitions from the Sunday email:
Kirsten won the Premier Foods Group Cluedo comp: “I am over the moon to tell you that I have won the family trip to New York… which you featured in your Sunday email a few weeks ago! We have won flights, transfers, 3 nights in a 4-star hotel, £500 spending money, a carriage trip around Central Park and tickets to the zoo! We are all very excited, especially my 7 year old daughter who cannot wait to go to America! So so grateful to you for sharing all of the competitions - my first holiday competition win! Thank you so much.”
Fiona won the Sophie Allport and National Trust competition from five weeks ago: “… I’ve just won a £1000 voucher for National Trust Holidays along with a £500 Sophie Allport voucher. I was really surprised as I’ve been doing comps from your newsletter for years and never won anything so I’m very happy.”
And Lisa discovered she’d won a competition from a Sunday email at the end of March: “Just wanted to let you know that I’ve had my first win! I’ve been receiving the weekly travel competitions round up for the last 18 months and enter competitions every week but had a notification today to advise I’ve won a Condé Nast Johansens 2-night break to the Grande Real Villa Italia Hotel & Spa in Portugal!”
Carrie Lou was another big prizewinner this week - from a The Lady and Visit Sarasota County competition: “… I won tickets for the Ballet in London at the Opera House and a 5 night all expenses stay in Sarasota (Florida)! Flights, hotel and hire car with VIP tickets for nearby attractions! …hope this will give hope to those who don't enter as much (I enter about 5 comps a day at the moment…) … even if you only enter a few you can still be lucky!!”
Finally, Sandy won a pair of River Roamer tickets with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.
PRIZEWINNER UPDATES
We also received a prizewinner update from “lucky Dan”: “A couple of weeks ago, we made use of the prizes that my wife and I won. Mine was the stay at the beautiful Harbour Hotel in Richmond, which included spa treatments, dinner and breakfast. The hotel were so accommodating and it was a lovely place to visit with our baby. Then we headed off on the train further south to the Beachcroft Beach Huts in Felpham. These are perfect for families and we got to enjoy this with dinner on both nights… It was a wonderful first holiday as a family.”
