How much tax will I pay on a R1m lump sum if I'm medically boarded?
It depends on the type of fund the contributions were paid into.
Can I draw additional funds from my provident fund to settle my bond?
If you have already taken a one-third lump sum you will only be able to increase your monthly income amount – but in most scenarios I wouldn't recommend delving into your investment portfolio to settle a bond.
