On behalf of Father Richard Rohr, thank you for joining the Center for Action and Contemplation’s online community! We hope our emails serve as reminders that you are not alone. You are companioned by a Divine Reality whose presence crosses all boundaries of time, space, tribe, and religion. You are joined by hundreds of thousands around the world.

Everything we do at the Center is intended to support your growth as a loving, compassionate human being. Whether it’s through a book, recording, online course, or conference, we want to help you awaken more love in the world.

In his Daily Meditations throughout 2019, Father Richard is focusing on the theme “Old and New: An Evolving Faith.” Drawing from his own Franciscan and contemplative Christian tradition, he helps us deepen our experience and understanding of God. He clarifies misunderstandings and points to forgotten wisdom that still has the power to transform us and our world.

While the meditations build upon each other, they can also stand alone. Read them at the pace and frequency that works best for you! You can find all the meditations in our online archive.

As you read (or participate in any of CAC’s programs), we invite you to use your whole being, not just your analytical mind. ​In a series of three short videos, Father Richard shares why practice-based spirituality—engaging heart, soul, and body—is so important.

In this open-hearted stance, you can hold the tension of paradox, allow space for questions and unknowing, let go of unhelpful beliefs, and change the way you live in the world.

Richard Rohr’s Daily Meditations will arrive in your inbox every day, beginning tomorrow. The weekly Saturday emails include a summary of the previous week’s meditations and a suggestion for contemplative practice. You’ll also receive monthly news from the Center for Action and Contemplation.

Every once in a while, we might send you an additional message with news we just can’t wait to share!
