Western Michigan announces full-ride scholarships for hundreds of low-income students, funded through $550M gift

The funds are also slated to provide low-cost housing, a new innovative Living Learning Community, internship stipends and scholarships for 1,350 incoming and current students during the first year alone, President Edward Montgomery announced Thursday.
