What are you most looking forward to canning this year?

Every household has their favorite recipes. For example, our family loves apricots. It sometimes seems like apricots produce well every other year where we live, so when there are lots available, I can batches and batches at once. They're delicious! Not to mention they're easy for canning, even easier than peaches (and peaches are pretty easy).

But it's not just apricots. We have other favorite foods too.

Maybe some of the ideas in this newsletter will become YOUR new favorites this year. :)

Reusable Canning Lids - Still struggling to find lids? It might be time to consider reusable canning lids. (I have some reusable lids in storage for just the shortage situation we're facing right now.) There are two main brands available: Tattler and Harvest Guard.

Dilly Beans - These pickled beans (made with dill weed or dill seed) are a hit with my pickle lovers. Since pickles contain vinegar, they're safe for water bath canning too.
