Fast Company’s annual World Changing Ideas Awards are now taking applications, and we can’t wait to gather our list of products, concepts, companies, policies, and designs that are pursuing innovation for good! The final deadline to submit your application is Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Honorees will be featured in Fast Company magazine and on fastcompany.com.

Impact

Does the project that you are creating (or trying to create) provide substantive, positive change in the world? Whether it's enormous change for a small number of people, or small, substantive change for a large number of people, we’re looking for projects making a difference.
 
 
Innovation

Innovation

No matter what stage the idea is in, it should be bold, new, and innovative. We don’t want to award a project that is a tweak that iterates on an existing world-changing idea. The best entries offer a pathbreaking solution to an important problem.
 
 
Creativity

Creativity

The World Changing Ideas Awards honor projects that are building new creative solutions to the world’s most complicated issues. Across 50 categories, we aim to showcase achievements in ingenuity, resourcefulness, and inventiveness.
 
 
Scalability

Scalability

We’re looking for ideas that have the ability to change the world, so their potential reach should be large, even if it’s only serving a small number of people at the moment.
