On the road again?
Happy Monday, Baltimore. I hope you stayed cool this weekend, even if you were checking out one of the myriad outdoor events throughout the city and region ... because I did not.
Today, we've got a feature about those among you who took long-term trips beyond the region. Technical.ly's lead DC reporter, Michaela Althouse, spoke to folks with connections to either Greater Baltimore or the DMV area (or both, in one founder's case) who gave digital nomadism a shot. Their journeys touched places as varied as Mumbai, Greece and the Pacific Northwest. Some slept in cars and vans while others spent months anchored at hotels or apartments.
All ultimately agreed on a few things, including that digital nomadism is both worth it for everyone to try, and takes a lot of self-discipline.
Have you ever given the digitally nomadic lifestyle a thought? What about a full-on try? If you've done it, what did it do for you? Let us know your reflections by replying to this email or sending another to baltimore@technical.ly.
