What a few months this has been for the PRO/AV and Events community. In case you missed anything, here's a very quick round-up of news from the Barco front.
 
 

X-Series LED displays to ship in October!



With a pixel range of 4mm right down to 1.2mm, the new X Series was one of the hot topics at InfoComm (see below). You’ll find product details here. But for the bigger picture – literally – check Strategic Marketing Director Wouter Bonte explaining the significance of that massive 6.1 million-pixel wall at InfoComm. The next-best news is that they will be shipping in October. So get ready to do something epic with them.

Event Master: single-cable 4K60p supported via DisplayPort 1.2 and more



As part of the continued development of the Event Master systems, we introduced two next-generation 4K60p video interface cards at InfoComm. The twist? With the new 4K tri-combo input and output cards, single cable 4K60p is now supported via DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0 and 12G SDI. See for yourself We also added a new EC-30 controller to our Event Master family.
 
 
 

Training supports the growing popularity of UDX



One thing was clear at InfoComm: UDX projectors are being enthusiastically adopted by both the rental community and ProAV sector. So Barco’s training specialists have just announced a series of courses that cover every aspect of UDX for salespeople, operators, technicians, service engineers, customers and consultanciesread more

InfoComm revisited: a total of 9 awards for Barco

Barco at InfoComm 2017 
InfoComm in Orlando was simply amazing. Attendance was up and Barco won a total of 9 awards for our ProAV and Corporate AV products, including 2 each for the UDX 4K projector and ClickShare! Oh, and together we went through 1,080 bottles of beer at our Belgian Beer Bar ;-). Thanks to everyone that visited us and/or voted! Read about the awards here and here!
