Hi Achternaam,

How are you doing?

I'm ready for spring, and it's coming...though some days feel more like it than others. One day recently it was a little chilly in the house, but not really cold enough to light a fire in the woodstove. So I washed a a few dishes to warm my cold fingers right up. :)

Whether it feels like it or not, we're coming into garden and canning season! Because we'll be getting more information out to you, we are moving to weekly newsletters.

I know some people have mentioned on the Facebook page that they're planning on growing and canning more this year, and I've also been hearing that canning lids are going up and getting scarce.

For that reason, I also wanted to remind you about FillmoreContainer.com. They have generic bulk lids in sleeves. I placed my order for some of each kind, but it looks like they only have regular mouth in stock now. I'll just link to the main page here, so you can see all of the options in one place, in case certain selections sell out before you have a chance to look. You just never know anymore...

Here's the link for Fillmore Container's canning lids.
