Death on the highwayLaw officers are trying to figure out what happened along Interstate 10 near Prairieville last night. When Ascension Parish deputies reached the scene, a truck was blocking three lanes of the highway and a Zachary man had been shot dead.
Sex crimes trialA Livingston Parish jury is deliberating in the first of three high-profile sex crimes trials expected there. Today lawyers gave closing arguments in the trial of a woman accused of rape and video voyeurism.
