Our art reviews today spotlight Lonnie Holley and Sharif Bey, two incredible artists with fascinating life stories. Bey's ceramic figures, especially the ones pierced with nails, are some of the best works I've recently seen.

Researchers from Bournemouth University discover a 750-year-old medieval shipwreck and its cargo off the coast of Dorset.

The 2022 recipients of the Lee Krasner Award include artists Josely Carvalho, Laddie John Dill, Rita McBride, and Cheryl Ann. Beili Liu is awarded the $50,000 Pollock Prize for Creativity.
