What is ultimate cost of ESA program?

A bill before the Legislature that would create publicly funded “education savings accounts” for parents to spend on tuition, tutoring, online classes and more could come with a hefty price tag.

One estimate shows the cost of the stipends could eventually reach $520 million annually.
