ABA TECHREPORT 2018: Marketing | | As it does every year, from May through October of 2018, the American Bar Associationâs Legal Technology Resource Center conducted its Legal Technology Survey Report on the use of technology in the legal profession. The 2018 Survey was delivered electronically to close to 4,000 ABA members in private practice in the US and included firms of all sizes. I usually write a TECHREPORT on blogging and social media based on the survey, but this year, I decided to expand my article to marketing more generally. Webinar: Managing Your Online Reputation: Leveraging Praise and Ethically Addressing Criticism This webinar was originally presented in November, 2018, but you can still access the webinar on demand. Modern consumers of legal services are increasingly turning to the internet to find and vet lawyers. Word of mouth referrals no longer take place solely through personal contact.
