If you’re feeling trapped in a dark place, try your best not to panic.
| Hi John, Let’s talk about what not to do when you’re in a dark place. Sometimes I’ve felt trapped. I wasted energy worrying and searching aimlessly for direction. I got angry with the people or situations that led me to where I was and I dug myself deeper into a hole. By the time I was done worrying, I was exhausted and still stuck. |

Where Do We Go from Here is a painting about taking a moment to breathe when things seem hopeless. It’s about pausing to accept and assess where you are so you can calmly begin to plan a way forward. If you’re feeling trapped in a dark place, try your best not to worry. Pause. Ask yourself where you want to go from here. When you’re ready, calmly take the first step. And remember that we’re all in this together right now. Much love my friends, David P.S. Here’s a dad joke to lighten the mood — What did God say after he separated the light from the darkness? I think I'll call it a day. |
