91 percent of college officials surveyed said students, faculty, and staff consider their campuses safe. They noted, though, that challenges remain in addressing student mental health — and the impact that could play in overall campus safety and wellness.
Across colleges and universities, technology is playing a greater role in supporting campus safety efforts. Implementing AI programs, for example, can save costs, but concerns persist regarding racial bias and cyber attacks.
