Suppliers and retailers continue to cut glyphosate prices in the U.S. as the industry grapples with a surplus in supply. With no resolve in sight, one inputs analyst thinks glyphosate prices could remain low through 2023.
 
 
 

While the House and Senate are holding hearings and listening sessions to draft a new five-year bill, the majority of ag economists surveyed in the June Ag Economists’ Monthly Monitor say it’s unlikely a farm bill will be passed by the end of September when the current legislation expires. Some economists think the new bill could be finished by Jan. 1, 2024.
