"Woman of Light is my heart song to my people. Based on the lives of my ancestors and nearly a decade of research, this epic novel inspired by classic Western film and old Hollywood is my tribute to my homeland and the culturally diverse people who created me. Woman of Light is about what it means to be human, to make mistakes, and to learn about who we are.
I put my everything into writing this novel for over ten years, and now I am beyond honored to share this story and these beautiful characters with you, dear readers. Thank you for coming with me for my first novel, my second book. I hope you’ll love these characters and their great big story of survival and fate. I made them with love for all of us. Designer and illustrator: @talgoretsky and in the coming months I’ll share more about the cover process."

Thank you and Xo,

Kali
