6 Functional Exercises to Improve Balance and Stability

Many of our everyday movements require us to balance on one leg. When you break into a light jog to catch a bus or catch up to your colleague in the hallway, there’s a brief period in each step when you’re balancing on one leg. When you climb stairs, you push up with one leg at a time. The last time you jumped over a puddle or off a curb, you landed on one foot.

What is the Protein Sparing Modified Fast Diet?

There are dozens of variations of crash diets, such as the cabbage diet or the gelatin diet of the 70s. Most of these are unsustainable, unhealthy, and ineffective. While the protein sparing modified fast is no less extreme, it's far more reasonable and effective than the others.

If You’re Not Showing up, Someone Else Will With Libby Rothschild

Today we welcome Libby Rothschild to Health Coach Radio. Libby is the CEO and founder of The Dietitian Boss Method, a thriving enterprise that focuses on empowering and teaching Registered Dietitians to consider leaving clinical practice and launching a private practice instead. Dietitians work really hard. They complete a ton of schooling, along with internship or residency hours, and still struggle to make a compelling living doing what they love. According to Libby, a dietitian with a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition may only earn around $55k a year and end up working in an unfulfilling clinical setting. If learning how to get into business, attracting your dream clients, and building your dream business sounds interesting, then you will get a lot out of this conversation, regardless of your credential. During this episode, we chat about the idea that confidence doesn’t come from a title or credential, how to take uncomfortable action, the steps to breaking through to higher earnings, and so much more.
