Be a Positive Experience for Your Clients with Diana Bishop

Today we are chatting with Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Diana Bishop. Diana provides clinical health education and individual health and wellness coaching for Kaiser Permanente employees. Diana is an expert coach who teaches us how coaching can be used effectively in a corporate wellness setting. Facilitating corporate wellness is a goal for many health coaches, but as with most things, it comes with its own set of difficulties and barriers that Diana shares with us during this conversation.

One of Diana's areas of interest and specialty is in how trauma and adverse childhood experiences reflect in the health of our physical bodies.  Like many guests before her, Diana patiently explains to us how these types of stressors show up in our physiology. We cover a lot of ground in this episode, including ageism in the health and wellness field, how coaching and therapy differ and what Diana calls "clean coaching."
