We're working hard to make sure that learning can continue for students both at the Skate School and at home. Read on to learn more about what we've been up to in the past few months. Skateistan Alumni: Meet Hosai, Shabnam, Ntlanzeko, and Sulaiman The Skateistan Alumni Network is a new project, which connects our former students with each other, shares opportunities and celebrates their success. We're excited to share the stories of our former students, and tell you about what they're up to now. Hosai and Sulaiman are former students from Kabul, and Shabnam is from Mazar-e-Sharif, currently studying engineering at Balkh University, Afghanistan. Ntlanzeko is from South Africa, and you can read his story in his own words. Read all of the stories in the 'Latest' section of our website. Skateistan Celebrates International Women's Day On International Women's Day 2021 (IWD 2021) we introduced you to some of our most talented skateboarders in Afghanistan. Arezo, Belqisa, Saeeda and Marzia have all been in our programs for some time and they are incredible skaters. Over the years, they have built their skills and now they are inspiring a younger group of girls to follow in their footsteps. We featured them in our IWD 2021 film, and we released a photo collection from Juliette Cassidy of our students in Mazar-e-Sharif. We also wrote about exceeding our global girls participation goal three months in a row, and introduced you to our partnership with Be That Girl Foundation. Read all of the stories on our website.
