What’s new on Cypress Mountain for the 2020/21 Winter Season

NEW TOYS

• Vancouver’s largest snow grooming fleet just got EVEN BIGGER – our New Piston Bully 600 Free Groomer Snow Cat
• We are the proud new Owner of a Brand New Snow Plow Truck to support our Snow Removal operation
• We are installing two large Outdoor Dining areas in the Downhill and Nordic areas.  This investment will provide all our guests with a variety of options to enjoy a meal

• We’ve significantly upgraded our Snowmaking Pumps in order to improve our Snowmaking system
• We have completed the switching over of all 571 night lights in both the Downhill and Nordic areas to LED.  This upgrade reduces our Night Light energy consumption by 50% and provides a better night skiing experience!
• We have upgraded our Food and Beverage point of purchase software in the downhill and nordic areas to allow for pre-purchase via online ordering.

• Cypress has invested further into expanding our RFID System to improve access and flow across the resort
• Our Operations Team were summer grooming across our resort
  • In Downhill we focused our brush cutting attention on Shore Line, Rainbow, Meteor and Lions Lift Line
  • In Nordic the team concentrated on Lower Telemark, Unknown Lake and Pacific Ski Trails
