| Upcoming Special Events and Activities: Tanglewood Marionettes presents: The Fairy Circus
Saturday, December 7 @ 10:30AM / First Parish Chapel [behind Santander Bank] Featuring over twenty beautifully hand-crafted marionettes, The Fairy Circus is a showcase for turn-of-the-century-style trick puppetry. The puppets will dance, play instruments, juggle, contort, transform, and fly through the air with the greatest of ease, all to the best-loved music of favorite composers. This title is perfect for family audiences and children of all ages. Founded in 1993, Tanglewood Marionettes is a nationally touring marionette theater based in New England. Large, beautifully hand-crafted marionettes, colorful sets, and integrated lighting and sound create a fully immersive theatrical experience. Our highly skilled puppeteers have spent many years perfecting their art, delighting audiences of all ages as they bring our repertoire of classic tales to life. Following the performance, please stop by the Library for fireside holiday treats hosted by the Friends for the Library, who with the Hooper Fund, have generously sponsored this program!
