EA Originals has released a trailer for their new game Sea of Solitude, and it is giving us deep Guillermo Del Toro meets Hayao Miyazaki melancholy feels. The title, in development by Jo-Mei Games, centers on a young woman named Kay, whose loneliness and sadness transforms her into a monster. After her transformation, she she drifts on a small boat through a deserted and partly submerged city, where she encounters other monsters and learns more about what happened to her.

yan Gosling is playing astronaut Neil Armstrong in First Man, which explores Armstrong's long journey to become the first man on the moon. The film delves into the dangerous and complex work behind the Apollo 11 spaceflight, as well as Armstrong's relationship with his wife Janet, played by Claire Foy (The Crown).

Hold onto your daemons: Philip Pullman's epic fantasy His Dark Materials trilogy is getting the prestige TV drama treatment it deserves. James McAvoy, Clarke Peters (Jessica Jones) and Ruth Wilson (The Affair) have signed on to star. The eight part mini-series is being adapted for the BBC by writer Jack Thorne (The Last Panthers, Wonder) and produced by Bad Wolf (The Night Of) and New Line Cinema.

Given the massive global success of Game of Thrones, it's no surprise that HBO has ordered a pilot for a prequel series. The pilot, written by Jane Goldman, will take place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones and will center on "the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour", according to a statement released by HBO.
