Cole's Metro Council role up in the air

LaMont Cole has been named as the next superintendent of the East Baton Rouge school system, but what about his role as Mayor Pro Tem of the Metro Council? He has withdrawn his name from the November election for his District 7 seat, but questions remain over who will represent the district through the end of his current term.
