International Women’s Day is on Monday and feels especially poignant this year. This collection of programs tells stories and achievements of women from all walks of life, including Australian of the Year Grace Tame’s impactful National Press Club Address. On Monday, we will launch Brazen Hussies on ABC iview. Brazen Hussies is a documentary narrated by Sigrid Thornton, celebrating the legacy of the bold women of the Women’s Liberation Movement, who re-ignited the feminist revolution in Australia. Sydney Mardi Gras is this weekend but we are celebrating across the country with stories of love, equality and diversity that capture the spirit of our LGBTQIA+ community. There’s been a lot in the news this week about The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with even Oprah getting involved. If you’re Royal-obsessed or just want more of the backstory Prince Harry’s Story: Four Royal Weddings is a great way to get an insight in to why so many people across the world love the Prince. Have a great weekend everyone, don’t forget we’re here if you’re looking for what to watch. |
