We asked 7 Baton Rouge chefs to pick their favorite in town — and no, they couldn't pick their own. Here's the mouth-watering list they gave us. 


There has been another major development in the case of a Baton Rouge auto dealer who is accused of hiring three men to kill his wife. 

One of the alleged hitmen took a plea deal. Here's what kind of sentence he could face, and what it might mean for the prosecution of the man accused of hiring him. 


In the court battle that could split Baton Rouge apart, organizers of the effort to create a new city of St. George are trying to convince an appeals court that a judge who ruled against them was wrong.
