'Someone had a problem . . .': On Sunday night, gunshots rang out on St. Charles Avenue as the Krewe of Bacchus rolled past its traditionally huge crowds. One person was killed and four others were wounded. There are still a lot of unanswered questions today, including what sparked the gunfire. "Someone had a problem with someone else and decided it would end with gunfire," acting New Orleans Police Superintendent Michelle Woodfork said at a morning news conference.
