Have you seen "Wicked" or listened to the music from the blockbuster musical? I went to a playing of the show in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2019, and the performance of "Defying Gravity" blew my mind. My friends and I still talk about that show.
The movie version of the popular musical premieres Nov. 22, so here's a look at the tracklist for the upcoming movie.
Following the money in Utah’s elections
Where there are elections, there’s often big money — to the tune of millions of dollars. That’s true in Utah, which doesn’t come close to being a state with the most expensive races.
Now that the election is wrapped up, here’s a look at how much money was brought in for candidates and where it was spent.
Governor
Governor Spencer Cox: $3,782,382.19 spent.
Rep. Brian King $651,962.94 spent.
Senate
Rep. John Curtis: $4.67 million spent.
Caoline Gleich: about $1 million spent.
Attorney general
Derek Brown: $589,474 spent.
Rudy Bautista: $160 spent.

Brighton Ski Resort opened Thursday ahead of a snowstorm expected to bring as much as 10 inches of powder to the Cottonwood Canyons over the next two days.
Dozens of skiers and snowboarders lined up to ride the Majestic and Explorer lifts at the Big Cottonwood Canyon resort, the third to open in Utah this season. Neighboring Solitude opened for the weekend last week and will start spinning the lifts for the 2024-25 season on Friday.
Brian Head in southern Utah opened last Friday. Other areas plan to start winter operations around Thanksgiving and in early December.
