Familiar faceFormer Saints assistant coach Mike McCarthy is scheduled to interview with the Saints early next week, according to recent reports. The former Cowboys and Packers head coach has strong ties to the Saints organization. Missed opportunityOffensive coordinator Klint Kubiak recently interviewed for a couple of open coordinator positions with other NFL teams. One of them just hired another candidate, Matt Paras reports. Open doorKubiak isn't the only Saints assistant with an uncertain future. Every coach on the staff is waiting to learn their fate as the team's head coaching search continues. Loomis said he won't block assistants from talking to other teams during the interim.
