Dear John Do,
Technology companies, start-ups and researchers have been trying out forward-looking technologies in the Hamburg Port Authority's (HPA) Homeport for the past three years. Innovative maritime solutions ranging from automation and robotics to VR will take centre stage during the "Homecoming Homeport" prototype and technology festival in early July. We spoke to Stefanie Teichmann, HPA Product & Operations Manager, about the Homeport as a tech enabler for the port of tomorrow and highlights of the festival.

In other news, Hamburg is advancing the future of mobility while the Hamburg Green Hydrogen Hub continues to take shape. Hamburg has also topped a new ranking in terms of attractiveness for skilled labour.
