Happy New Year!

Has any year been so happily discarded as 2020? It was a year punctuated often by uncertainty and heartache, confusion and loss. In a year when so much was unlike anything that has come before, there were moments—no matter how brief—that were undeniably different, but seemingly for the better.

Whether you’re looking to grow your newfound skills or want to try something new for a New Year, consider:

Cooking and baking. Mastering the art of delicious food can bring rewards well beyond the immediate sustenance: save money, take better care of yourself, and support a healthy environment, to name a few.

Where to start:

Sky-gazing. People have always looked up to the sky and stars with wonder for good reason: It’s truly another world to explore. Getting started is easy—no fancy equipment needed!

Where to start:

Finally, for 2021, we offer a hope for health and happiness, and encourage you to ditch the resolutions…other than a promise to explore new activities and delight in simple pleasures. Happy New Year!

As sure as the Sun will rise and set each day, The Old Farmer’s Almanac is here for you, now and always.
