Dear John,

I have a big question for you. What will your last words be?

May 1st was my Mom's 96th birthday. She is in heaven now and I bet she is still celebrating! Mom had, and has, a huge impact in my life.

Here is what she said to me as I wrote in the dedication page in the book Choose to Win. These last words to me were in the hospital, 48 hours before she passed into eternity.

As I was leaving, she motioned for me to come over to her. I leaned over, and she grabbed my neck and whispered in my ear,

“I'm so, sooooo, so proud of you, and I love you soooooo, so much.”

That was the last thing my Mom said to me. I have so many great memories, but wow, what an intentional gift that was. Today I want to encourage you, as you go through this day, there are people in your life who mean so much to you. Give them words like my Mom gave me because we never know what our last words will be.
