COCKTAIL CLUB     SHOP   ABOUT US

A good Vermouth plays its role of the great facilitator to a tee. Parched friends arrive and greet each other before taking in a Vermouth that in one sip quenches thirst, enables lively conversation and paves the way for the palate to enjoy a hearty lunch. Of course Vermouth also forms the base for countless famous cocktails.

The name Vermouth descends from the German word for wormwood, and it´s origins are found in ancient Greece. In fact it was Hippocrates who is credited with first mixing wine with wormwood and other spices. However, the modern
Vermouth was created in 1786 by Antonio and Beneditto Carpano in Milan, Italy.

Vermouth found popularity during the mid 18th century when it was championed by a number of now world famous Italian and Spanish brands. Now Vermouth is the base ingredient for many popular cocktails such as The Negroni, Buñueloni, Americano, Manhattan, Rob Roy, Martinez and Manhattan.

DID YOU KNOW?

In Spain they even have a phrase that translates to "Vermouth time". This reflects the drink´s status of deserving it´s own time of the day. A time to enjoy a good Vermouth with family and friends.

Our Sweet Vermouth, Estate, is made by infusing 31 botanicals with English pinot noir. Made in the Italian ‘rosso’ style, notes of orange, cacao, rosemary and wormwood combine to form a full-bodied vermouth.

Lower in sugar than many Sweet Vermouths, this is a bright and complex aperitif with delicate tannins from the pinot noir. A Sweet Vermouth unlike any other.

Aromatic, fragrant and elegant, this is a complex blend of botanicals infused in English Bacchus, Chardonnay and Seyval Blanc.

With a bouquet of aromatic white flowers on the nose, and a clean, bright citrus finish on the palate, this is a fun, approachable
Dry Vermouth that wants to be the star of the show!
