Good afternoon,

Today I thought I’d highlight some of the things you might have missed from the Lancashire Post team across the weekend.

Smoke filled the skies in and around Preston on Saturday after a major blaze at Recycling Lives. We are still waiting on confirmation of an exact cause so keep checking lep.co.uk for more.

News of Aldi’s plans for Preston Docklands also provoked plenty of debate while our look inside a popular, refurbished Lancashire pub sparked plenty of interest.

Then even non-boxing fans couldn’t miss Tyson Fury’s stunning performance in victory at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night. Will he fight on? He says the uppercut that floored Dillian Whyte was the last punch of his career.

PNE also released details of their season cards for next season ahead of the big derby with Blackburn Rovers tonight, which we'll have covered for you from Deepdale.

Thanks,

Adam
