Good evening everyone,

Scotland has entered phase 2 in the routemap out of lockdown.

Here are the key points you need to know...

  • "Street-access" shops can open from 29 June but shopping malls will not
  • Face coverings are mandatory on public transport from Monday 22 June
  • People not shielding can meet with two other households outdoors, but in groups of no more than eight
  • Anyone living alone or only with children under 18 can form an 'extended group' with another household
  • Professional sport can resume - with public health restrictions remaining in place
  • Dental practices can reopen to treat patients with urgent care needs
  • College and university staff can return to make essential preparations for restart in phase 3
